Programme Assistant

As a Programme Assistant at Sherpa Kids, you’ll play a crucial role in creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, heard and above all else, have the best time with us! Your creativity and voice will shine as you help plan engaging weekly activities, organise the routine and provide the encouragement they need to explore their skills and talents. Reporting to the Programme Coordinator, you'll ensure smooth operations every day, contributing to a positive experience for children, parents and staff. Programme Coordinator

As a Programme Coordinator at Sherpa Kids, you’ll be the backbone of our programme, leading a team of passionate people to ensure smooth operations and a fantastic experience for all. Your responsibilities will range from managing staff training and on-site procedures to planning exciting activities for children. You'll also have the joy of interacting with the children, ensuring they are happy, engaged and safe in their environment. You’ll report to your school's Sherpa Kids Area Manager and will receive the necessary support to succeed in your role. If you thrive in administrative tasks, enjoy working with children and have strong leadership skills together, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

Area Manager

As an Area Manager at Sherpa Kids, you will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic team of Programme Coordinators and Assistants across multiple schools while fostering positive relationships with parents and school principals. Your role involves managing staff, overseeing service operations, and ensuring compliance with Sherpa Kids standards. You have the opportunity to inspire, lead, support your team and add to creating a positive workplace. Our recruitment process

1.Start your application

Begin your application by applying for one of our job vacancies through Indeed or by contacting our HR Team directly via email at hr@sherpakids.ie. You must submit your CV along with an introduction about yourself and your interest in the role.

2.Initial Interview

If your CV meets our criteria, our HR Team will reach out to schedule an online interview with you that should take around 30-40 minutes.

3.Second Interview (if applicable)

If successful, the candidate will be invited to the second-stage interview, which will be with the Hiring Manager of the role.

4.Preliminary Offer

Congratulations! You've made it to the preliminary offer stage. We're excited to offer you a role. At this stage, you'll be asked to provide necessary documentation such as qualifications, ID, Visa (if applicable), and references. You'll also be invited to attend a trial shift, where you'll lead a group of children and engage with them.

5.Formal Offer

After providing the required documents and completing the trial shift, we'll make a formal offer, discuss your remuneration, initiate the Garda Vetting process and confirm your start date. Congratulations you are now joining the team!
