Service Delivery Team Roles at JAG

General Manager

As a General Manager at JAG, you'll lead one of our flagship 'Centre of Excellence' venues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and fostering a positive environment for children and staff. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee leadership, training and onboarding, scheduling, people management, cost control, customer complaints, and school relationships. If you have experience in management, a passion for childcare, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, this role is perfect for you. Club Manager

As a Club Manager at JAG, you'll lead a passionate team in creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children. Reporting to your General Manager or Regional Operations Manager, you’ll manage, direct, and support staff in delivering a safe and effective programme, ensuring team members are motivated and happy. You'll plan and supervise a variety of activities, from multi-sports and games to arts and crafts, fostering an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels excited to participate. Deputy Club Manager

As a Deputy Club Manager at JAG, you'll lead by example, helping to develop the minds of the next generation. Reporting to the Club Manager, you'll support the management, direction, and assistance of team members in delivering a safe and effective programme, ensuring a motivated and happy team. You'll help plan and supervise a variety of activities, from multi-sports and games to arts and crafts, creating an inclusive environment where every child feels excited to participate. Activity Leader & Playworker

As an Activity Leader & Playworker at JAG, you'll bring energy and creativity to our programmes, ensuring a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for children. Reporting to the Club Manager, you’ll plan and execute a variety of activities from multi-sports and games to arts and crafts, fostering an atmosphere where every child feels excited to participate. You'll also be responsible for safety protocols, providing refreshments, and maintaining a high standard of hygiene. If you're passionate about making a positive impact and enjoy working in a dynamic, supportive team, this role is perfect for you!

Sports Coach

As a Sports Coach at JAG, you'll infuse energy and passion into our programs, ensuring children have a fun, safe, and engaging experience. Reporting to the Club Manager, you’ll assist in planning and delivering a variety of activities, from multi-sports and games to arts and crafts, fostering an inclusive environment where every child feels excited to participate. You'll follow safety protocols, complete necessary documentation, and maintain a high standard of care. If you're enthusiastic, organized, and love making a positive impact, this role is perfect for you!

Apprenticeship Roles

As an Apprentice at JAG, you'll bring passion and enthusiasm to our programmes, working with children while earning industry-recognised qualifications. Reporting to our CPD Quality Partner and apprenticeship provider, you'll engage in a 14-month work-based programme combining on and off the-job training. You'll assist in planning and delivering activities from multi-sports and games to arts and crafts, creating an inclusive environment where every child feels excited to participate. If you're between 17 and 24 years old, organised, and eager to learn from our team of experts while making a positive impact, this apprenticeship is perfect for you!

Our recruitment process

1.Submit an application

You can apply for one of our available roles on our vacancies page or through a job site such as Love Care Recruitment or Indeed. Upon application, please provide your contact details and submit your resume.

2.Video Introduction / Phone Screening

If we identify that you have the relevant skills and experience, we will either ask you to answer some basic questions via video or call you and have a quick 5 to 10-minute chat. This is your chance to tell us briefly about your interest in the role. This chat could either be with one of our JAG Recruiters or our friends at Love Care Recruitment.

3.Initial Interview

This is your time to shine! It’s likely that you’ll meet for 30 minutes to 1 hour with the Hiring Manager for the role. 

4.Secondary Stage (if applicable)

Depending on your role, a follow-up interview or a visit to one of our clubs may be organised to further explore your experience, skills, and alignment with the role. 

5.Preliminary Offer

Congrats! You’ve passed through to the preliminary offer stage. This means we're keen to offer you a role, providing you are able to provide the following: 

  • Full employment history from when you left full-time education and explain any gaps, if there are any.

  • Relevant Qualification

  • Two references from previous employers, or where this is not possible, an educational reference.

  • At this point, we will also submit your application for a DBS check or check the update service if you already have a certificate.

6.Offer

Once we receive the required documents, we will make an offer, send you your contract to sign, and confirm a start date. Congratulations!

7.Induction

Prior to starting with us, you will be invited to complete our JAG induction programme. The onboarding journey is designed to help you understand more about your role at JAG and the company. 

8.Ongoing Training and Development

Once you are onboarded, we have continual development opportunities in person and online to ensure you can grow and develop in your role.
